چکیده
Formulating the wide variety of Colors in demand today for thin section injection molding can be challenging. Customers require dimensionally stable parts that often must match or nest in assembly. Colorant selection is critical to meeting today’s demands and this paper describes a system to achieve these goals.

Optimization of the injection molding process of Derlin 500 composite using ANOVA and grey relational analysis
Warpage and shrinkage control are important factors in proving the quality of thin-wall parts in injection modeling process. In the present paper, grey relational analysis was used in order to optimize these two parameters in manufacturing plastic bush of articulated garden tractor. The material used in the plastic bush is Derlin 500. The input parameters in the process were selected according ...

Injection molding is one of the most common processes which are used for manufacturing different plastic parts. This method includes 3 continuous steps: filling of the mold, cooling and driving the part out. A wide range of plastic and Non-Plastic materials can be used as raw material in this process. One of the most important advantages of this way of production is that it is very economic. In...

متن کاملEFFECT OF FIBER ORIENTATION AND PROCESS PARAMETERS ON SHRINKAGE IN INJECTION MOLDING OF THIN-WALL PARTS Davide Masato and Jitendra Rathore and Sorgato Marco and Giovanni Lucchetta, Department of Industrial Engineering, University of Padova, Italy
Injection molding of high quality thin-wall parts is a challenge due to the high values of the shear stress in the melt flow, which affect the morphology of the moldings and their consequent shrinkage and warpage. In this work, the effect of the injection molding processing conditions on the dimensional accuracy of thin-wall fiber-reinforced parts was studied. The reduction of the shrinkage was...
متن کاملOptimization and numerical simulation analysis for molded thin-walled parts fabricated using wood-filled polypropylene composites via plastic injection molding
Plastic injection molding is discontinuous and a complicated process involving the interaction of several variables for control the quality of the molded parts. The goal of this research was to investigate the optimal parameter selection, the significant parameters, and the effect of the injection-molding parameters during the post-filling stage (packing pressure, packing time, mold temperature...
